Diabetes is a great example of the human body not  having all of the checks and balances. More people should gain more knowledge and recognition on Type 1 Diabetes as research shows the numbers are increasing for not only adults, but kids as well. Type 1 diabetes is something that needs to be known around the world, as there is still no cure and we have been fighting to find one. Research shows how common it is for children, which causes potential dangerous outcomes. Although there has been many advances in the treatment of diabetes, the medical world still has a long way to go to completely treat this disease.
