To put it simply, Eddie Earvin and Harry T. Moore were both against racism, but in different ways and through different experiences. Moore and Earvin were mainly inspired by different rumors to make their decisions.

Because Eddie Earvin left, he found a better life, as he said, "It was like getting unstuck from a magnet". (Wilkerson 221), and because Harry T. Moore stayed, he a great many tragedies in the NAACP, including one that affected him directly; a bomb was placed under his house, which ended up killing him and injuring his wife, who committed suicide shortly after.

I agree with Earvin's decision, as the situation is dire and dangerous. When it comes to being a slave and trying to escape, it's hard to advocate for others and be a herald for change when the only way to save anyone is by saving yourself. In this case, it's everyone for themselves, so I agree with his decision.

1 They were both Africa Americans battling segregation and the unfairness. They were also both treated badly by people just because of there skin color like it took Eddie Ervin 7 months to save 21 dollars and Harry T Moore couldn't even find a place to sleep at night when he was on the road because no hotels would take him.

2 Eddie Ervin was not able to go to school and get educated he was also stuck in the south working on a plantation and could not leave on free will. Harry Moore was a man who grew up educated and he was in New York and came back down to the south to try and make change Eddie Ervin had a happy ending he was able to escape and leave with his family but Harry Moore was killed by a bomb under his bed while he was sleeping even before that he was getting death threats he had to start carrying a gun it go so bad.

3 I agree with Eddie because if I was to put myself in his shoes I would do whatever it takes to leave he also had kids and he had to do whatever he had to do to protect them and himself.

They were both going through the same thing, and they fought for their rights.

Harry T. Harry was a substitute teacher and had a job, while Eddie had not job and no education.

I say Eddie made a right choice because he ended up alive, while Harry ended up getting murdered when he stayed.

Eddie Earvin and Harry T. Moore were both African American men who were discriminated against, and then tried to find ways to better their circumstances and fight for civil rights.

Some differences between Eddie and Harry were that when Eddie was getting threatened he left with his family, while Harry stayed and ended up murdered. Another difference was that Harry was an educated school teacher, while Eddie worked on a plantation.

I agree with Eddie's decision on leaving. I believe this because Eddie had a family to think of, and him living would do better than dying. If Harry had left he may have lived and continued to help fight for civil rights. So it was definitely the best decision for Eddie to leave.

They both also battled segregation.

Eddie ran away from his problem with his children for their and his safety. While Harry stayed back in Florida to fight back which resulted in controversial decisions and racist acts toward him which resulted in his death by explosion.

I agree with Eddies decision to run away. He was a dad with two daughters and wanted to protect them and himself so he needed to get out of there. If Harry also left he could have his same impact in another state rather than Florida.

They both stood up and fought against racism and segregation

Harry and Eddie both had different means of what they would do. Eddie ran away with his kids and successfully got out. While Harry stayed in Florida to fight segregation and make things equal where he later died to a bomb under his bed.

I agree more with Harry's decision to stay and fight against segregation and racism. I think that fighting gave a harder punch to the racist then if you run away. I also believe that you should stand up and fight against your problems and not run from them.

1. Eddie and Harry's experiences were similar because both of them heard about traumatic, racist experiences that may have influenced their decision to leave.

2. Their experiences were different because Eddie had no education, while Harry did have one. One major and obvious difference between the two is that Harry decided to stay to help fight against a cause, while Eddie left the south with his family.

3. I agree with Eddie and his decision to leave. While Harry stayed to help fight against an important cause, he ended up dying from a bomb in his house, showing how dangerous it could be to stay in the south. Eddie also saved up his money to not only get him out of the south, but also his family, showing how selfless he is. Both decisions could have ended badly or really well, but I agree that Eddie's decision to leave was best because it secured his safety.
