         <description><![CDATA[<div>Grains: particularly wheat, which are used in the creation for bread and even breakfast cereals make up a large part of the american diet. according to USDA 2010 dietary guideline, the two greatest source of calories in the diet are grain based desserts and bread. On average, Americans eat 6.30 ounces of grain per day. <br><br>Meat: Americans eat 171 pounds of meat per person in 2011 according to the Earth Policy institute. poultry is the most common, Americans eat roughly 70 pounds per person each year. Beef and pork make up the rest of the meat consumption, beef is consumed at rate of 52 pounds per person and pork 44 pounds per person each year. <br><br>Sweeteners: sweeteners in the form of refined sugar, from both sugar beets and sugar cane; corn sweeteners, maple syrup and other sweet syrups. Americans consume nearly a hundred pounds of sweeteners per person each year. <br><br>Potatoes: Americans consum about 143 pounds of potatoes per capita per year. <br><br>Tomatoes: roughly 46 percent of Americans eat tomatoes in some form every day.          <description><![CDATA[<div>Rice (white rice) : Rice production is important for the food supply in the country. Rice is a common part of the Korean diet. South Korea produced 4,297,951 tons of rice. All three meals (breakfast, lunch, dinner) are with rice. But now many people in South Korea eat other types of food for breakfast, like bread and cereal. <br><br>Rice cakes: Sticky cakes made by steaming powdered rice with other grains like beans. Rice cakes were sometimes eaten as a part of a meal but now it is more to variety of special foods served at family occasion. Rice is the main ingredient of Rice cakes, but often mixed with grains, fruits, nuts, and herbs. <br><br>Kimchi: A traditional side dish made from salted and fermented vegetables, most commonly napa cabbage and Korean radishes, with various seasonings like chili powder, scallions, garlic, ginger, and salted seafood. Cabbage is the most common vegetable used. Kimchi has 34 calories and no total fat per 100 grams serving, since it is low calorie and low fat, Kimchi is eaten as a side dish with other main meals. South Korean consumes about 48 pounds (22 kg) of Kimchi annually. <br><br>Meat : Meat is one of the staple food, since it is mainly eaten during lunch or dinner. The most popular cuts of beef are sirloin, tenderloin, and rib, as well as brisket, shank, and leg bone. For pork, popular cuts are belly.
