I enjoyed every part of that poem because it’s talking about how amazing life is and will be at the season of spring. Each line was making things feel perfect. The poet was talking about the feeling of spring and how it felt perfect. The poet also added his grandma into the poem by saying how lovely her cooking was. He was also talking about how spring felt like part of him, how it was inside him. I also really like it because in the second stanza he talked about what things smell like and how perfect it was. That gave a lot made me understand the poem very well and describe how things smell using facial expressions. He was also talking about how sweet the apple and the quenching taste of a peach Snapple  was in spring. By adding the words before the object helped me know and understand what to do with facial expressions and body language. That also shows that in spring things grow really well and are perfect. He was also talking about how in spring everyone can be set free and enjoy their time in spring. The poet was also talking about how he can swim or "take a dip." That also tells the readers that the weather is perfect in spring and that it’s not too hot and not too cold to enjoy our time in the water swimming. He was also talking about how he can hear the grass growing. That tells the readers that he does feel like part of it. That he knows things are growing and can hear them. I really like how he did that to the poem to show that he was part of it. It made me want to pick it over all the other poems. I chose this poem because I want to warn everyone about what bullying can do to people. I have also been bullied, I know how it feels. I DON’T WANT anyone to be in the position I was in. People can get bullied physically, verbally or even mentally. Kids in our age ( in middle school ) get bullied quite often by the POPULAR KIDS. This poem explains how this girl went through [so] much and how people treated her, and how she acts when she got bullied. She also explained how she was going through suicidal thoughts 💭 and she was trying to STOP thinking about it but she can’t . I was really inspired by her and I hope you all were too.
