 We used a  triangle for the base.Yes it did give some support but it might have worked better if it was a square.

We had to have it to measure 18 inches with a budget of  $40 

For you to build a tower that is 18 inches with only $40

The hardest part to work in the group was all the communication like you couldn't just do it yourself and be over with it.

Compression: a pushing or squashing force

The noodles on the bottom were compression and the ones holding things in place were tension because the ones on the top were pulling and a stretching force. Then the ones on the bottom were compression because they were getting squashed or getting pushed on.
