Discuss and agree which media types your team believes will best answer the brief and why.   Can your team think of a big media idea eg sampling / a media sponsorship?    

Assign team responsibilities.

(a) The Target Audience (s) - expand on the brief, target audience personas, media connection opportunities, influencing their path to purchase.   Think about the purchaser (Mum/other family members) and the end user (kids) - don't just accept the target audiences in the client brief - think and expand.  

(b) Competitor Analysis - what are competitors doing to reach and engage the target audience?  Include supermarket's own brands.  Consider an in-store visit.  Again, think and expand on the client brief.    

(c) Media recommendation / rationale - which media types are recommended and why - which are not recommended and why?    Is there a big media idea?  eg sampling of product / media sponsorship - media flighting plan (simple block plan for 2022)

(d) Media by type - detail on usage of each medium, specific formats and tactics for each of the (approx three) media types that are recommended.   Measurement and analysis during and after campaign. 

Written document (approx 1250 words per section as a guide)  and powerpoint/canva presentation (up to 10 minutes per person) - delivered in class next week - Week Twelve
