The challenge we face each year is not knowing what we need to do with our kids, but actually doing it when Day 1 comes. Too many pressures and directives pull faculty and staff away from taking the time to understand and build relationships with our kids. If we were 100% committed from the top-down at building relationships those first few weeks of the school year, I believe we would create the change we want to see.
