VARSHA. MK
I am from Chennai and my idea of a village is purely from films and very short visits.
Things that come into my mind when I think about a village:

Bumpy and pitted roads.

Small temples that thrive as an important cultural heritage.

Homes with provisions for strangers to sit outside their homes.

Large banyan and peepal trees.

Small children playing around.

Fields as far as we can see.

Underdeveloped water supply systems.

Inadequately equiped hospitals.

Poorly infrastructured schools.

Cattles roaming around.

Self reliant small communities.

Every person would know everyone in their neighbourhood and they will seem to be a big family.

KARAN.T

I used to live in a village. Now I am in a township. I can still feel the fresh breeze of my village.

Green Views:
The fresh green views will be such a pleasant view to our eyes.

Trees:
The most significant thing almost every village has that is contributing to the welfare and the sustainability of the whole world is the presence of trees.

Air:
Breathing the air would be an unique experience. Whenever you walk through those areas the calm breeze would always keep you cool.

Paths:
Walking on the muddy paths with barefoot is is like floating on the clouds. The roads might mostly be damaged, rough with holes and mud all over them. Travelling there is really a risk for motorcycles.

Animals:
A lot of domestic animals can be seen almost in every corner of the village. Dogs, cows, goats and much more can be seen. Birds such as cocks and hens are raised in many houses.

I am from a village where we have farmlands, animals and people (farmers). Apart from it , we have culture and some castism problems. Its simply a place of peace and fresh environment. When I am here I feel different . Walking through the farmlands , I forget about everything. The people here are tough and they are very difficult to understand but they have good hearts . Though we have paths filled with stones, most of the people are uneducated ,infrastructure is bad and our incomes are low , it is a heaven in the earth. I always wanted to do something for them now I think I would do it.

‌I'm from a village which is full of greens and cattle. Most of the people's occupation is farming and people use bullock carts for ploughing and water wells for farming. Some of the houses are constructed with mud. Every home has its own backyard garden. And turning the tables some people are using tractors instead of bullock cart and motors instead of wells. We have well constructed buildings, automobiles, hospitals (vertinary hospital too), schools, roads, medical shops etc and no place lesser than a city.

‌

The beauty of my village is ineffable. It is situated in a mountain valley. it has a countable number of houses where the majority of the people's occupation is farming and distributing their products in market.the other side of the village is fully occupied with green farming lands along with wind mills and a river. It has a wonderful climate which attracts more birds to come .In the free empty ground i could see some boys playing cricket .when compared to city ,there you can find enough peace .Even though the roads are not good ,the green farms around the road make the journey feel good.In every house i can find a domestic animal or bird and the streets are filled with children playing under trees.
