Then the teacher will ask them: what type of sentences / texts are these? (Teacher will try to elicit the word quote, motivational phrases, etc) Sts may even say they usually see these type of phrases on IG, such as ´Be quiet and…´<br><br></div><div><br>Next sts will read the different quotes and complete them with the words given.&nbsp; After completing them, the teacher will ask them to think about the meaning of the quotes/phrases, for example:´One day I´m goíng to make the onion cry´: Can you make an onion cry? What kind of text do you think it is? Why do you think the little duck says so? What is the relationship among them? Are they just friends, siblings?&nbsp;</div><div>After reading the title , the teacher will ask students whether birth order influences one´s personality. They may say yes or no, or it depends . So the teacher will ask them to read the text to check if there is any connection between birth order and personality. They read, and then check.</div><div>Next, the teacher will ask them to complete the text with the missing phrases, reasons. Students will re read the text, complete the paragraphs and check.&nbsp;</div><div>Finally, they&nbsp; will classify the personality adjectives present in the text according to people's position in the family. Where is she from? What do you think she does for a living? How old do you think she is? Who is the oldest person you know? Now, I’d tell Students to read the title of the article (“The secret of Long Life”) and think about what the article would be. After that, I’d ask them to read the article.<br>In the second activity, I’d use the pictures for a communicative activity. I’d ask them to work in pairs and make up short dialogues involving health sores and aches. One of them could be the doctor interviewing the patient. &nbsp;<br><br></div>]]></description>

         <description><![CDATA[<div>To begin with, I was in my last year of my career when the pandemic took place. For that reason, I gave online classes using different platforms but the most acceptable was Google Meet. I taught adolescents who were in the fifth year of secondary school. During that time, I created a lot of material in order to engage students and catch their attention. The activity I thought for this Padlet is related to the topic: <strong><em>"How social media can change your life"</em></strong> and students are in contact with networking sites all the time. To me, it is really important to take into account students' interests and necessities and working with a topic which is known by them make it meaningful. Students have previous knowledge so they can associate vocabulary in a relaxing way as well as they can interact each other and participate actively. What is more, it is significant to create a context where students can be critical and feel comfortable to speak about their position bearing in mind social networks.&nbsp;</div>]]></description>
