Pyramus and Thisbe are two young lovers who are not able to love due the "Wall" that separate them. With Romeo and Juliet they could not love each other due to their family feud and with both stories they try to escape their curse of not being able to see each other.

In Pyramus and Thisbe, Edith Hamilton stated that, "... white as snow. The change in color came about strangely and sadly. The death of two young lovers was the cause." (paragraph 1)This piece of evidence reminds me of when Juliet is learning about the potion that will make her seem as if she was lifeless. The redness in a human drains out and becomes a white pale body once they have become lifeless.

In Pyramus and Thisbe, it is highly suggested that the 2 suffered a very violent death to suicide, which resulted in enough blood spilt to a high enough velocity that it would change the colors of white berries nearby. In Romeo and Juliet, the 2 die in different, considerably less violent ways in comparison to their counterparts. Juliet still dies a violent and painful death, as the cutting of the stomach does not kill you right away, and you would bleed out in time. Romeo died of poisoning, which is a lot more subtle than all the others.

In both Pyramus & Thisbe and Romeo & Juliet, the deaths of the lovers could've been prevented if: a- the first lover tried to think of a logical solution to the apparent death of the other
b- the timing and communication was a little better
Come to think of it, neither pair had an actual time set to meet.

In both cases, neither couple had to die but did in near mirror fashion. Both male protagonists committed suicide upon believing that their lover had died, not knowing that they were mistaken. Then the female protagonists would arrive, and then kill themselves after seeing their fallen lover.

In both stories there is a weapon that was used for the death of the two young couples. For Pyramus and Thisbe they were both killed by the sword in their hand and their death was upon themselves for each others love. And with Romeo and Juliet a dagger was used for the death of Juliet and she too died in her own hands for the love of Romeo. The fact that the two girl would kill themselves by a stab into their body for their loved one who was killed showed that they would have been willing to do it all.
