In the middle, the painting of the main clearly is two painter's daughters(Mary and Margaret)in a casual embrace, eye not directly to the visitor but slightly off to the side. Mary and Margaret wear the cloth color is similar to the background, as well this brushwork gets a whole artistic conception of the painting done without any letup. A posture of extreme elegant appeared on the girl.When I first time saw this painting, I always confused where the cat in the name is. Afterward, I noticed that it's an excellent way for expression even though a number of people think the cat was uncompleted. Painter uses light cyan to draw a cat in outline, and the visitor could find that cat according to the tail of cat in Margaret‘ hand.

The painting records a day that he with his wife(Xie Ye). He didn't use exquisite painting to make it perfect. In opposite, brief painting directly expresses his heart. As a poet, he has a directed and clear sense to form a special expression way.His poetry style is similar to the painting, like he was a child. Because one of his eccentricity is wearing the circular hat, it's easy to recognize him. Beside them, their house, livestock, waterwheel and some moving fishes. Standing on the hills, a herd of cattle quietly eats grass. Jumping between the sky, some patches of cloud turn into mythical animals wearing the skirt with flowers. In the growing season, leaves begin to fall from trees. Under the sunshine, everything seems like artistic. As motioned above, it could be the fact where they lived, as well it's possible that could be his hoping. In that year, six months after he finished this painting, he had an argument with his wife over the question of divorce.Due to impulse, he hurt his wife and committed suicide.
