         <description><![CDATA[<p><span style="font-size: 13px;">-One of the first civilizations that created calendars were the ancient Egyptians. Their calendar wasn't exactly very accurate, but it worked at an extent.</span></p><p>-The ancient Egyptians counted the days between the years, which was 365 days. Later in history the Romans fixed this to make it more accurate by adding one day in March every four years to correctly correspond with the seasons. This addition of a day is called Leap Year. The Earth, in fact, orbits the sun in about 365 and 1/4 days.</p><p>-Over many years the Roman calendar gained changes as well. Pope Gregory XIII took off ten days of Spring because Spring came ten days too early on the calendar. </p>]]></description>
