Both of those quotes relate to the book because she sings about how the words flooded there senses which they did in the book (and caused him to have a panic attack). The second quote references "you" the "you" in the books case is Cals dad or star watch, the second part about how im watching it burn relates to the book because cal cant do anything but watch everything he's built "burn'
