Rempeyek Kabiras Enterprise is located in Simpang 4, Kampung Tanjung Puteri, Kuala Ketil, Kedah. On the first day, I was told by the clerk that the process of making ‘rempeyek’ from beginning to end. She was very good to explain for me step by step. For example, the first step is the receipt of raw materials. Then, the second step is sifted flour. Followed by the third step in the grinding of ingredients such as onion, chili, and spices. After that mixed with salt, sugar, and seasoning. The fourth step is that all ingredients are incorporated into mixing machines for mixing. Last step is sent to the fryer. After explaining everything carefully, I was assigned at the mix. In each part of the Fryer is placed as much as four people, each piece has two pans for frying. One pan is controlled by two people. The first person was assigned to insert the brewed ingredients, nut, and ‘ikan bilis’ into the mold and then put it in a heated oil. Then, the second person was assigned to fry the ‘rempeyek’ and lift the ready-made ‘rempeyek’ into the container provided. It was new experience to me. I need to be more careful to avoid any harmful incident that could happen. I was fry the ‘rempeyek’ and lift the ready-made ‘rempeyek’ into the container provided. So, I was assigned at the mix. I need to make dough and mixing the ingredient such as shallots, chilies, spices, salt, sugar, seasoring, and flour. All of the ingredients needed to be mix thoroughly for a few minutes until it formed dough. I need to make sure it is clean before employees start the main job. This is to prevent pollution in food. After that, I was assigned to arrange a ready-packed ‘rempeyek’. It is because the packaging part is not enough staff. Next, I need to sweep trash again at the whole area before going back. Before we closed our operation, I need to make sure all containers and equipment are clean and placed in the proper place. Not only that, I also need to be make  sure the whole area Rempeyek Kabiras Enterprise factory are clean too. On my day eight, I was incharged at new section which is Packaging section. In the Packaging section, usually there are four people. On my first day in the packaging section, I was assigned to put the ‘rempeyek’ into the plastic that was provided. There are three types of plastics to insert ‘rempeyek’ such as small, medium, and large plastic. There are 9 pieces of ‘rempeyek’ in a small plastic, 20 pieces of ‘rempeyek’ in a medium plastic, and 50 pieces of ‘rempeyek’ in a large plastic. Everyday will be update at board about how much need to be packaged according to plastic size based on customer demand. I just have to wait for the ‘rempeyek’ that has been put into plastic and picked it up to sealing them. But I need to make sure that sealing was very sticky and not open. I came to work at 7:00 a.m. I feel very excited at the last day but the same time I feel sad. On my last day of work, I’m still incharged at Packaging section. I was assigned to insert a ready-packed ‘rempeyek’ in large plastic. Then, I need to organize it regularly on the shelf. Lastly, I feel very happy as long as working on Rempeyek Kabiras Enterprise. The owner and supervisor was very good to me. They give me good guidance and new experiences every day. The workers are also very kind to me. They treat me well.
