I think that communication has ben even more complicated why communication via technology often means that you man not be able to see the person you are communicating with, or maby you can see a part of the person and in that way you miss the communication with the body.
Some times when people get angry, they write a angry e-mail an send it immediately. Maybe if you wait until you see the person the message is better and clearer, and not so angry.

Technology makes it easier for people to connect worldwide, that is if you have access to the internet. So there, a part of the world is left out, we should remember that.
When that said, it is a big issue how we communicate when we are not in person. We lack the communication concerning bodylanguage, facial expressions etc. which are the most important when communicating, and much misunderstanding occurs. But if you keep it simple it is a great way to learn about other cultures around the world.

I think that when you carry out too many tasks through at the same time, you do not do one thing properly. And with technology you are doing several things at one time, and you also forget that communication is not only words. I think that people who communicate only through technology forget how to communicate with others in person, and more misunderstandings will arise.

When we use technology in communication, in most of the cases we are missing an important part of it, such as tonality, eye contact, body language, etc. When we overused them, we might start loosing these important skills for communication. And it also depends on how we use technology, if we are multitasking, for instance, we can not pay attention to everything which is important and misunderstandings will be more common.
However, we have to take into account that technology makes communication possible or easier with people from all over the world.
