Some times when people get angry, they write a angry e-mail an send it immediately. So there, a part of the world is left out, we should remember that. 
When that said, it is a big issue how we communicate when we are not in person. We lack the communication concerning bodylanguage, facial expressions etc. which are the most important when communicating, and much misunderstanding occurs. And with technology you are doing several things at one time, and you also forget that communication is not only words. And it also depends on how we use technology, if we are multitasking, for instance, we can not pay attention to everything which is important and misunderstandings will be more common.
