         <title>5 Food Groups</title>

         <description><![CDATA[<p>the 5 food groups consist of grains which are the biggest in the 5 group.  And 12 to 13 year old should be eating around 5 to 6 (150g to 300g) serves a day.  3 or 4 of them should be whole grains some food examples is cereal, rice, bread (whole grain) pasta are all good choices grains when consumed give lots of fibre which helps to regulate the body and blood sugar. After grains we have vegetables legumes and beans which used to be the largest in the 5 groups now is the second largest. Kids of 12 to 13 should be eating 5 and half (or 412.5g)of vegetables legumes and beans for a healthy diet. As they provide vitamins minerals such as vitamin C magnesium and folate for a healthy body  also fibre protein for energy strength and regulating your body. After vegetables we have Dairy which is milk yogurt cheese are all dairy with different types such as Greek yogurt full milk and more. You should be having around 3 and half serves of yogurt (or around 850ml of milk 700g of yogurt and 140 grams of cheese though this is for the full 3.5 so it should be like 250ml or 100ml of milk 40g of cheese and 200g of yogurt) for a healthy diet. as dairy gives calcium and vitamin D for strong bones. next is lean meats or poultry </p>]]></description>
