                                             Saving private Ryan review 
            Saving private Ryan was one of many WWII films, by a stellar director Steven Spielberg. This movie was known for creating a sense of experience of being in the war. The movie is famously known for the opening D day scene that portraits just how awful and catastrophic this day really was. 
            The movie starts out with U.S. troops storming a beach in Normandy after hard long fighting it starts to slow down when the main plot is developed. The Ryan family sent four boys to war and three of them were killed in action.  This news soon gets the higharchy of the military when Captain miller (Tom Hanks) and his small team are sent on a mission to bring Private James Ryan (Matt Damon) home to his mother. After a long stressful death fulfilled goose chase through the war filled land of France Captain miller and his team have finally tracked Private Ryan down. When hearing the bad news private Ryan is mentally boggled and does not want to leave his men to die. After the creation of a battle plan the movie ends with an epic battle in a small town of Ramelle. 
            In my opinion saving private Ryan was one of the best world war two or even war films ever created. The extraordinary gut wrenching opening scene of D day gave a feel of presence like no other movie had ever done. The use of signature Spielberg film techniques such as a shaky camera really added to the dramatic affect of this scene. Although this is scene is the main conversation when it comes to the movie it often over shadows the others. Such as the epic battle at the end of the movie that shows some phenomenal acting and impressive special effects. The movie offers and array of intense battle scenes but at times really gives a nice slow scene with a lot of meaning behind it. All in all Saving Private Ryan is must see film.

Paragraph 1: saving Private Ryan: Was a very good move because IT made me feel like I was in the war with the people and I can feel there pain in the movie. 
 
Paragraph 2: camera movement and lighting close ups: In the very first 5 to 15 minuets in the movie when the men are getting off the boat the camera was shaking and showing men in all kinds of angles in pain of getting shot or killed. The camera movement is so important in the move because I fell like it make u feel like your in the movie and you watch it more because of it. When the English teacher was on the ground in the first few minuets there was some lighting and close up on his face u looked at the lighting on his face. And in the very start of the movie before the beach seen the old man had lighting and a close up on his face to show us his flash back.                          
 
Paragraph 3: sounds and background movement: The sounds in the move were amazing when d day happened u heard gun shots, yelling, people scared, crying the bullets in the water killing solders it was great and made me feel like I had to get down and take cover it was scary and really accurate. Now some people might never see how Spielberg has people talking or doing something behind the main charters. Most of the Time Spielberg has people talking or shooting doing something almost ever seen in the movie. Like d day when the English teacher Is deaf and u cant hear anything there’s men drowning getting shot and injured in the water and the pool of blood happened because people were dying in the background and some people ask why that happened because they never see the little things in Spielberg movie which I think its amazing that he does this it makes the movie better.   
 
Paragraph 4: graphics and acting: I thought the Graphics were amazing for every person had blood and it showed how much pain and hoe brave these people were to do this kind of thing for one guy. Acting was great I didn’t see anything that was bad I thought everyone did great in this movie and that’s why it did well.
