Rule that attempts to eliminate discrimination. The rule Basically states, that when running an organization, your demographics have to resemble that of the community. In essence, your workforce has to resemble what the community looks like. If the community is 98% women, then your organization should resemble that. The majority of the population should make up the majority of the organization. This picture reminded me of this rule because of the disproportionate amount of green apples.

In contrast, to the Wagner Act, this law was put in place to help Business. There had been so many strikes that were going on and not getting resolved, that the government had to do something to stop it. This act provides guidelines on how workers can strike and ways to resolve the strikes before they start. This is a newspaper clipping from the time period.

Realized that there are essentially five keys to a successful evaluation. They are as follows:

Develop an evaluation form

Identify performance measures

Set guidelines for feedback

Create disciplinary and termination procedures

Set an evaluation schedule

With these guidelines done properly.

I've learned that conflict comes in many different facets. There are just as many ways of resolving them. Some of the main things that help resolve conflict are understanding the situation and acting promptly. Understanding the situation would be to get both sides of the story and the other part would be to get to a resolution quickly there after. If the conflict lingers on, it causing a whole line of other conflicts down the road. Almost like a tug of war.
