How the Watergate scandal relates to today is based on our current president which is Donald Trump. Many people are making comparison to Nixon Saturday night massacre and Donald Trump firing FBI Director James Comey. People have suggested the reason why Donald Trump fired the FBI director is because he was close to finding a link to Russia hacking the votes to favor Donald Trump. Many people are also saying that Donald Trump has a lot of power the same way as Nixon. Nixon fired many of his house to hide his scandal and Trump is also hiding his secret.
