Holling told his family about Mrs. Baker and his father realized that Mrs. Baker's family was the one who was trying to find an architect. His father then told him to be nice to Mrs Baker so that Baker Sporting Emporium would choose Hoodhood Associates to do the work. Thought the story Holling learned to like Mrs. Baker. At first Mrs. Baker gave Holling a very long test. She also made Holling read a lot of Shakespeare but that worked out for Holling in the end because he got to be in a play. Holling didn't think he would like the Shakespeare but he ended up liking it a lot. Mrs. Bigio is always mean to her because she, in a way, blames her for the death of her husband. Her husband was killed in Vietnam.
