Set up your own noodle shop in the near-future city of Neohaven and strive to survive the first 10 days. In the game, you’ll serve noodles, solve problems, and manage your finances—all the while meeting a host of shady characters, each with their own story to tell.

Your overall goal is to work towards a stable business and a profitable future, one bowl of noodles at a time. So get ready to play, serve, survive, and thrive. And gain some IRL financial literacy too…Delicious!

Once you have found a work experience placement, you will need to log their details on your Unifrog account.

The placement co-ordinator is Mrs Love

In the "Your Objectives" section, you should include what you want to gain from the experience. Examples might be;

"learn more about the industry"

"improve my communication skills"

"gain confidence in a professional environment"

Please double check that phone and email information that you add is accurate when you add them to the form.

Once the form is complete, click "add placement" in the green box at the bottom.

The placements process 

The placements process starts with the pupil. They need to find their own work experience placement. Parents and caregivers can support them with this.

Once an employer has agreed to host the pupil, the pupil records the placement on their Unifrog account using the Placements tool.

The placements forms

The Placements tool is a set of forms that help schools and colleges manage work experience. There are seven forms in total:

1. Student(Pupil) initial form

2. Employer initial form

3. Parent/caregiver agreement form

4. School/college permission form

5. Check-in form

6. Employer review form

7. Student(Pupil) reflection form

   
   

Each form is linked to the next. Once one person completes their form, the next person automatically receives an email to continue the process.

The Parent/caregiver agreement form

Parents and caregivers will receive an email from noreply@unifrog.org once the employer has completed their form. This email contains a link to the Parent/caregiver agreement form.

On this form, parents/caregivers will see the information the student and employer have already provided. They will be asked to:

• provide an emergency contact number

• note any additional needs the student has

• confirm who holds which responsibilities

• agree (or not) for the placement to go ahead

After completing the form, they need to mark it as finished and click ‘Update’.

What happens next

Once the Parent/caregiver agreement form is submitted, the school or college gives permission. When this step is complete, the placement is ready to go ahead.
