Asia and her boyfriend and other friend of their's was near and talking to Adnan at that supposed time. And he would usually check his emails at that time, giving him a normal reason to always be at the library at that time. He is also innocent because of him because why would he bring Jay along? He could have easily killed Hae and drive his own car, and leave back the same thing that he did when putting Hae in the trunk and is perfectly capable of digging a shallow hole by himself in either situation.

Though, Adnan was angry when Hae-Min broke up with him, he possibly wouldn't murder her because just because she didn't want to get back together with him.
