I enjoyed seeing your class draw alebrijes! Your art lesson made a fun connection between Hispanic Heritage Month and to student interests: the Pixar movie, Coco! Students were able to hold up and share their drawings and well as provide you feedback (thumbs) for where they were in the art process. At the end, you wrapped up the meeting with gestures for art terminology (sign language?) and students enthusiastically joined you to participate! It was clear this was a joyful routine in your class.
- Kellee Cole
