1) Ethos is when a writer tries to convince the audience by showing they are trustworthy, knowledgeable, and have good character. It's about proving they have the right experience or moral standing, so people feel confident in believing them.

2) The GIF is here.

3) In a toothpaste ad, a dentist in a white lab coat stands in a pristine clinic and declares, “With 20 years of dental practice, I recommend this toothpaste for optimal oral health.” The ad hinges on ethos: the dentist’s title and experience establish authority, the lab coat and clinical setting reinforce professionalism, and the direct endorsement positions the product as credible. By focusing on expertise rather than emotions or data, the appeal persuades viewers through the speaker’s trustworthiness alone.

Pathos is a rhetorical and literary device that appeals to an audience’s emotions towards primitive feelings like anger, joy or sadness.

You all might have seen Inside Out. How the emotions controlled the life of Riley through different phases of life. And it even affected some of her major life decisions and took over it. This quite explains how emotions can affect your logical reasoning towards things and might make you take an impulsive decision.
