The state came up with the theory that Hae was killed around 2:36 pm. This would give Adnan under 21 minutes to get out of the school and all the way to the Best Buy parking lot. Then Adnan would have to physically strangle Hae. When Sarah and her friend timed this route out, they came to the conclusion that although it may have been possible, it was still very unlikely for Adnan to kill Hae within 21 minutes. Everything would have had to be exactly perfect for this to work out. IMPOSSIBLE!!

Not only does Jay remember this day he remembers ever single detail about this day. Of course you could say, "your going to remember a murder," but do you remember every deep detail? Jay is the only evidence the state has against Adnan. Jay has also changed his stories multiple times throughout the interviews. Can you call Jay a reliable resource against Adnan if he has lied to the state multiple times? Adnan tells the state that he doesn't necessarily recall this exact day but he does not think that he would miss track practice. The state questions Adnans track coach and ask him if he remembered Adnan at practice on this day. The coach does not specifically remember Adnan being there but he said that if Adnan was not there he would probably remember because there were consequences for those who missed practice.

Jay tells the state when and where Adnan was at the times of the calls. The calls that were supposedly made by Adnan should have pinged the nearest phone towers if Jay's stories are true. Most of these phone calls did not add up. She talks about ow nice Adnan is and how sweet he is to her. After the breakup she starts writing about Don more. Never does Hae say anything about Adnan acting weird or abusive to her after the breakup. She was falling in love with Don, and Adnan was getting other girls. Adnan was never stuck on Hae.
