         <description><![CDATA[<div>Challenges I encounter when teaching literacy to students stem from feeling like I am more of a literature teacher.&nbsp; When students do not have the ability to read the text, I need more strategies to help them increase their fluency.<br><br>Students are motivated by concrete things like wanting credit for a class, or wanting a good grade on a test.  They are not necessarily motivated to just become better readers.</div>]]></description>
