I totally agree. First, it often reduces face to face communiacation, so people may feel more isolated even though they are 'connected' online. Second, spending too much time scrolling can be addictive and waste valuable time. Finally, there are also issuse like fake news and cyberbullying that harm metal health and trust.

Body 1:First of all, televised talent shows are an effective way to discover new talents. Many people with great abilities do not have the chance to show their skills in daily life, but these programmes give them an opportunity to perform in front of millions of viewers. For instance, some famous singers and dancers started their careers after joining shows like Got Talent or The Voice. Without these shows, their talents might never be noticed.

Body 2: Secondly, talent shows also provide entertainment for the audience. People enjoy watching contestants perform, listening to the judges’ comments, and feeling the excitement of competition. These shows often include touching personal stories that make viewers feel emotional and connected. Even if a contestant does not win, the programme still brings happiness and relaxation to many people at home.

Body 3: However, talent shows are not always a fair or reliable way to find talented people. Sometimes, the results depend more on popularity and public votes than on real talent. In addition, producers may focus on creating drama to increase ratings rather than discovering genuine ability. As a result, some contestants become famous for their personality or story instead of their true skills.
