I feel that many of the kids tv shows incorporated the arts into them, especially from PBS. I once was sick a day before class and was suppose to go to a birthday party to and my mom said I had to chose one and I chose dance class. I would always be dancing around my house and more. One of my favorite memories of my great grandmother was visiting her on Sundays and while waiting for her laundry I  would dance and sing for her. This taught me alot about modern dance from my mostly competition back ground and exposed me to diversity that had not previously existing in my life. My arts high school also gave me the opportunity to create my own piece really testing whether I would want to choreograph in the future.
