In 1800s England, new workers called 'The Working Class' were created due to The Industrial Revolution. The people of the working class were people who worked low-paying jobs, which included physical labor or limited needed skills. It was created because men of the working class wanted to match or surpass the middle class and keep their wives and children from having to work. The Working Class impacted society by creating goods and providing services that, in turn, created society's wealth.

The New Consumer Culture was started in the 1880s in Western Europe but didn't get very big until the mid-19th century. The new consumer culture was customer's want to access consumer goods. This started because there was a major lack of consumer goods during WW2 but after the war instead of having limited supply options there were dozens. This impacted society by providing more access to better quality goods at lower prices and it allowed even people with lower incomes to gain access to goods.

In 1909 America, Fredrick Taylor introduced a theory called Scientific Management that separated long tasks into smaller repetitive portions. Fredrick Taylor wanted to shorten the amount of time it took to complete tasks but heighten the efficiency of said tasks. The goal of Scientific Management was to improve society in many ways. Some of the ways it did this were by reducing waste, increasing efficiency, and making the distribution of goods better.
