I am noticing that most of the teachers at Bennion are using BL with station rotations. They are teaching in small group settings and the students are using their Chromebooks to complete their assignments. I have a couple of teachers who are doing a little more with blended learning, and I am looking forward to seeing it in action. I will be scheduling times when I can go in and observe what they are doing. I also noticed that many of the teachers did not know the term blended learning. We will use that more with them. They are doing it, they just did not recognize the term.

One of my fourth grade teachers has students creating digital responses on an almost daily basis and one has embraced Ed Puzzle as part of her regular practice.
I frequently notice schedules that allow students station rotation time using ST Math or Lexia and many teachers are building content using tech tools. We are coming along.

Fox Hills had our PD on Google Classroom and Hyperdocs. It is amazing how many teachers are already engaged in utilizing these tools. I have a fourth grade teacher who immediately implemented Hyper docs and said her students loved it! Many classes are utilizing the Chrombooks and are in the beginning steps of blended learning.
idetnemelpm

It has been great to hear that teachers are utilizing our STS this year and inviting her in to help with technology in the classroom. I have heard they are reviewing key concepts using flip-grid and I also believe she has been in to model Hyper docs for one of my teams.

I have noticed many teachers utilizing Chromebooks during small group instruction. The are utilizing Google Classroom more and NearPod. One teacher on our Blended Learning Committee has caught the vision of using Blended Learning for differentiation in science. More teachers are understanding how the technology will allow them to teach essential standards using a Flipped Classroom model so they can work with students in small groups.

I have seen teachers enjoy using new apps and Google Classroom. I walk into some of the teachers' classrooms and I see small groups collaborating on a project some reviewing and some working with the teacher. It is a different feel in the upper grade classes than I have seen in years past. It is progressing slowly, but it is progressing in a new way of teaching.

I have noticed that many teachers are working on creating and using Digital Databooks. With it, many are using Google Classroom and other formats for it as well as other digital organizational tools. In fact, many of the teachers have it as one of their PG & E goals. It's great to see the teacher shift in this direction.
Also, many teachers are having great conversations about how to implement Blended Learning. Most teachers have technology enhanced classrooms already so it's not such a cultural shift to Blended Learning.
