I'm Ana Alonso and I teach History at Escola Básica e Secundária D. Sancho II.
I live in a village called Alijó which is located in the Douro Valley
I registered on eTwinning because I like to be aware of new updates and to be in constant learning.
I'm passionate about travelling and expanding my knowledge reading literature treasures.

My students are between 16 and 18 years old. They really enjoy participating in projects.

I like to know a bit about everything, but I think History is really fascinating because it helps us to know the past, understand the present and predict the future.

My name is Patrick Pestana and I'm 16 years old. I live in Pinhão, a beautiful village in the Douro Valley. I suggest you to visit it and enjoy a privileged view of Douro on a boat trip. In my free time, I like to visit new places, photograph landscapes, read and stay updated on what's happening through social media.

I'm about to start the 11th grade at D. Sancho II school in Alijó. I decided to take part in this project because I love to learn new things. With this project, I'll be able to meet new people and work with them, learning more about History.

I make part of eTwinning project because I like challenges and getting involved in projects that allow me to develop different work methodologies in the classroom, teach the curricular content in a collaborative and motivating way for students.
