This can be seen in "Through the Garden of Memory" because the characters found within the story are separated from their body. They are unable to really feel anything and the world they find themselves in is pitch black. They note the fact that they do not feel hungry or sleepy and are even able to create a giant pyramid without any physical repercussions. The characters even acknowledge this fact and put together that they are not in their body. In the story it is very obvious that the characters are split up from their body and are inside something that just is their mind.
