This lean production addon mostly brings benefits to it, such as notifying the workers when anything goes wrong, so they can solve it as soon as possible, avoidingany  delays and further losses. They can also, depending on the system, receive feedback on how the solution was implemented. The only main drawback i can think of is when the system is not when implemented, workers might get confused and execute an incorrect intsntantaneous response and solution, which will inherently generate more expenses to the company. As the big companies, such as Toyota, use three or more cords to apply the Andon System, there could be an overload in the database, this makes the line of production stop and delay the delivery of production
2. As there are different points in which the workers can alert their coworkers there’s a problem, there could be a confusion when dealing with the problem

The drawbacks aren’t as much as the benefits. Therefore I personally think that this is a very efficient system for companies like Toyota which has a big assembly line.
