In the first three I'm not quite sure what is going on and it is a bit too simple. The one with the red cut out pieces looks a bit more like collage but it is intresting, though perhaps a bit too much at once. The vending machine is and interesting concept but the image edits are all the same. Overall some nice work but try out more than one edit in the picture.

His pieces are very subjective in which they don't primarily have an outcome or a meaning but they do also leave room for imagination there also hinting's of typography of his work which can be show with lines which form together but aren't recognize able which i believe the artist has done to capture the viewers eye to look more closely and develop more on that to try and understand the meaning of the piece aritie is a very controversial artist because of his copyright and plageritations

I believe I have done this successfully due to my tonal elements and the stages of when the transition Into a different piece of tone. i did this by using illitarator an app which you can extend the movement and the construction of lines. for considerable amount of lines i have created a black border to create a contrast and to section out the piece more to make it clearer. when deciding the background of the piece i decided to use a gradient tool set to two different colours (red and blue) this creates an accurate contrast for the piece, i have made and extension for the white contrast to flow properly between the grey and red tones.

The hardest part of this process is having the time drawing around the subject because this took a lot of time.I believe this is better without the images in it due to there being a greater contrast. I wanted to change the colour of the piece to experiment with all the colours and which ones works the best, most worked well but black considerably contrasted. if i was going to do this again i would create a piece which transitioned using the colour black or a more in depth transition to more collectively create a sustained piece and develop my skills.

Gerhard Richter Is an artist that specialises on abstract art which is constructed using oiled acrylic paint to give this rich example because of the expensive layers which Gerhard has used this creates an extensive amount of overlapping over existing layers this creates a disconnection between the colours which were used and extends the elements of the line in the piece, these layers are done with different coats overlaying this creates an interesting experiment due to the size and the form of the piece which is drastically stretched across a human size board experiencing days of waiting for pieces to dry for the work. These colours merged into a monotone colour due to colours merging the layers which are done are all mono in one line working horizontally towards the end of the piece which was potentially only done with a one stroke or two due to the way the piece reduces when it gets further away

Name Taylor moulding

Unit title unit 85 exploring specialist techniques

Theme transformation

Proposal for outcome: in summer I began to research the theme of transformation. From my initial Ideas research, I began to look at formal elements but mainly considering the form and tone of the pieces which I developed. I decided to focus of these primarily because of the impact it has on the subject, also decided to develop my skills with pen which was lacking considerably. I got inspired by many different artist which use transformation and I worked into my own first hand photos, the same subject considerably looking at the transformation between that and food. I done this by using lighting which was in my household items, I also worked in dim areas around my house I used Items such random Items to create a tiny studio. I took photos to help with me working into the piece. I want to research and develop Ideas from the style of vapeway to give a different out specs than what I have originally been doing I can do this by changing the form of the piece outlining the subject and drawing attention to the form and lineal aspects when contrasted with the background of the piece. When creating these different outcomes I will need to use different software due to how successful one is or not, such as photo manipulation and illustrator for line forms due to the vectors in illustrator. I will be using research from the internet and different museums. The media and the style will change indefinitely throughout the pieces not considering changing. With my outcomes I have experimented with different adjustments such as inverted and brightness/ contrast, levels, curves, exposure, vibrance, hue saturation, colour balance, black and white , photo filter, channel mixer, colour lookup, posturize. I used most of these adjustments to change and alter the original photo adding additional movements such as scorch burn and blend and layering images on top of the images

I went to the Tate modern and bankside gallery located in London, researching and adding influence to my pieces many of the pieces which drew my attention were pieces which look form the formal elements of line and form such as jean Pierre yvaral 1934 2001 showing the contrast and the experimentation with geometrical shapes combining three dimensional shapes and adding, the form of the piece is to confuse the perception of depth. I also looked at a lot of street art featuring the art of Banksy showing how he creates tone with a monotone piece and extended this throughout of his pieces I also looked at detail pieces of art to relate to an extended form and shape to create and accurate piece with perfect tone and form. I directly reference artist such as brea sounders due to the direct influence to my art work, creating pieces which are only consist of form and line.

Within my photography specialism I have used elements of my photos to affect my piece which have done for graphics so I have thought about a composition which can be affected for both subject, I believe this can be done when favoring one type of formal element such a line, form, colour and texture of the piece this harder than I originally thought due to elements with such consistency are harder to capture. When using these photos I try to alter this by changing the elements which I document on a separate page on my pallet. I have used secondary resources from books to create pieces of my work changing element of the work.

Health and safety: I have used many different piece of work and I must consider the location and the people which may be affected by my work as this can affect people, I will watch out for people beliefs and their religion. I will try to use my work in fair use when using piece of my work for my final piece I will only use the primary research which I have done myself.

Within my graphic specialism I have used the artist from my research to develop my ideas and creating outcomes after the end of the piece I wish to create one final piece, I will be using different graphical terms and photography terms to improve my annotation of my work when creating these pieces when annotating for graphics I will be pasting photos and screenshots so my photos and annotation on top of the images to create a developments I will be doing this by continuously adding photos every so often by adding the screenshots I can effectively show my development to create a path of what went right and what went wrong will be taking photos which have been done in my own time to develop on to create an original photo.

this GIF i worked on the motion of the changing of camera movement of a piece this didn't work particular well because it confused the viewer i believe this may work better when having a background. which makes this not a good suit for this particular piece. this does suit hectic style of the piece however which may be considered.

I have create a effective amount of development showing what went right and how to use these pieces later on.

Evaluation

From my initial ideas I observe fruit and food I have compared this to my graphics out comes due to their similarity when it comes to line formal elements these pieces worked out well and compared well when working injunction together, these pieces are were influenced by artists such as Stefan segmen due to their similarities with lineal elements. There was major influence which created a breakthrough for me which consisted of layered animations. These piece developed into moving which was innovative and does relate to many graphics style on the platform. This compared to photography there was a direct transformation on the piece. Working against other photography artist. I will develop from this piece by using the skills which I have learned such as developing on the pen tool and the brush tool, using these injunctions I can create a great piece that works on transforming the piece throughout. The formal element which I can develop on consist of form later on in the piece showing a greater understanding of the project. Thought out my work I have developed the idea of transforming a person using the shape and there form to create a lined outline, my photography was used injection with my graphics using the photos form photography editing and adjusting them in graphics which created an effective comparison in the pieces. Working with graphic software such as Photoshop and illustrator it’s easy to create a piece which Is sustainable. The development which I have received in this project in photography is a greater understanding of a darkroom and the photo gallery to create professional shots working in junction with the skills need to create them such as aperture, iOS and shutter speed. For my next project I will use these techniques developing on and building on them.
