I don't think anyone saw this coming - a time when half of the students would attend online, and the other half would attend in person. Workers fog the hallways, and teachers spray the desks after each class. Students sit four to a table at lunch, and class changes are staggered. As well, one-way arrows tell students and teachers where to walk. This has been our school's effort to ward off Corona. However, some students have still contracted it (but not at school necessarily), and many have been sent home through contact tracing. Teachers are starting to get vaccinated since the vaccine is available now; however, I don't know if it will be accessible by most of our students before the next school year. The hardest part has been wearing a mask full time. It has been no fun wearing a face covering while teaching, and I hope we don't have to next year. It has been hard to do tasks like presentations, fish bowls, or even reading a play since all require microphones and lots of running around.
