This is a typical ghost story about a woman in white who appears in the curve of a road.  The protagonist stops his cars thinking is a hitch-hiker. Later he married her and they have a child. But he starts to suspect her wife could be a ghost….
Personally, I did not like it at all. I think don´t have mystery and the end is bad.

However, it is a book easy to read.

They decide to go on vacation to Polreath. Here they rented a house to a fisherman named Tristan, soon, Anna is immediately attracted to him. And so begins the love affairs. Tristan and Anna begin to meet secretly. Stephen has problems at work and have to return to London. A few days back and talk to Stephen and Anna decide to buy the house Polreath. At the end of the holiday Anna returns to London, while Tristan talks to Stephen what happened to Anna. So Stephen says Anna he has to talk to her.
The book is easy to read and vocabulary is not very complicated, but  what I disliked is that it hasn´t end

Wells who was British best know for his science fiction novels such the Time Machine, The War of the Worlds, The Invible Man. In this book there are exciting stories for instance, about a man meets a weak sad ghost, and apple which will give anyone who eats it endless knowledge, a man who can work miracles but he goes too fast and destroys the earth, or my favorite story about a boy who find out a magical garden.
this book has a lot of new words, but is easy to read.

Exciting stories where you can revive your dreams, to feel what a blind person feels, to know how life can change when you receive a big quantity of money, that you can help a lot of people with a little resources and what happen when nature decides rebel againts people.

It isn't a difficult book and you can enjoy with the differents stories.

I like this kind of books with sorts and exciting stories
