Training staff on its appropriate use would be part of implementing this initiative on our ward. If you just make the bed or change the sheets if needed, you would save even more laundry. It’s something already done in other hospitals.

I introduced the idea of reducing the waste of print outs for medication reconciliation that is often seen on AMU but can be avoided as pharmacy team have the laptops that can be used for this. The idea was welcomed positively and will be promoted in the coming weeks/months.
