         <description><![CDATA[<p>Students will create a habitat diorama out of a shoe box and provided materials. Students will need to bring in a shoe box from home. Then each student will choose a random habitat from a hat and create a scene of that habitat within their shoebox. The teacher will provide paper in any color available and will be willing to print black and white images of animals to be cut out and colored by students before added to their diorama. </p>]]></description>

         <description><![CDATA[<p>Students will participate in a habitat feature show. Each student will chose an animal puppet with their eyes closed. They will then create a short "presentation" about the habitat the animals lives in to give as their puppet. Presentations should include a habitat description (water source, food source, plants, other animals) and a description of the animal and why the habitat they live in works for them.</p>]]></description>
