Ahmed is planning to open a small bakery in Manama. He has two options:

1. Run it as a sole trader.

   • He likes the idea because it would be cheap and simple to start, and he could keep all the profit.

   • But he worries because if he gets sick, no one else can continue the work. He also knows that if the bakery fails, he may have to pay debts using his personal money.

2. Open it as a partnership with his cousin Mariam.

   • Together, they could put in more money to expand and share responsibilities. Mariam is good with accounting, while Ahmed loves baking.

   • However, Ahmed worries they may disagree on decisions, and they would have to share the profit.
