When my dad was a young kid he loved looking up at the night sky. Space fascinated him and he loved Star Wars and Star Trek. As he got older he had more responsibility and he lost his love for space. A couple of nights ago I was stargazing, and Venus and Uranus were visible with the naked eye. My dad came outside to lock his car, and he started to look at the planets with me.  He went in to the basement and he brought out his old telescope. We looked at the surface of Venus, and the moon with it. A couple days later we saw the super pink moon and we plan on seeing the smiley conjunction on May 16th. We are getting an AstroMaster 130 EQ-MD to see Pluto's surface something my dad always wanted to do as a kid.
