I made that, AND it was FANTASTIC. For most, that's probably not a huge accomplishment. However, I don't cook, and it's a miracle that I have healthy boys. Once they move out (if they do), I would actually consider turning my kitchen into a closet.

I like a good DIY

I love a good DIY project. Clearly, I was attempting to do a project that was beyond my skill set. I was sanding drywall plaster or whatever it's called. If you look close enough, you'll notice the dust settled into my forehead wrinkles. It was a nightmare, but the job got done.

This is my 19-year-old son, Jackson, and his lovely girlfriend, Brooke, in Sedona, AZ, this summer. They are both up at Michigan State. Jack is majoring in Political Science, and Brooke is doing Kinesiology.

Penn State Graduate

This is my oldest Maxwell. He graduated from Penn State in December with a BA in Asian Studies and a minor in Japanese.

We have 4 cats, but only admit to having 2.

We have cats. I rescued two kittens- well, that's not entirely true. I rescued 8 kittens and kept 2 - Showing great restraint. My vet kept putting off my appointment to get them fixed, and needless to say, the brother and sister crossed the line. We ended up with kittens shortly thereafter. Obviously, these kittens are now my grandchildren, so we now have 4 cats. That's a LOT of cats, so we only admit to having 2.
