Translation: Alle har retten til liv, frihed og sikkerhed af person.

Meaning: It means that everyone has the right to first of all have a life, but also that it’d a be free, safe and secure one. One in which they can be happy.

Example: Muslims. Just because they are Muslims, it shouldn’t mean that they don’t have the right to live, to feel safe, and to have freedom. This article(3) makes sure that they do have these rights.

The first point says, that everyone has the right to an education, regardless whoever you are. Which means that if you, for example, have another ethnic background, no one can take your right of education from you. It also says, that education has to be free in the ‘elementary and fundamental stages’ and they are also obligatory, which basically means, that the younger children has the right to free education, where they are obligated to go to school.

It also says, that the higher education, such as university, has to be made equally accessible for everyone, no matter who you are.

The second point says, that the education system should be improving our personalities and strengthening our view in human rights, so everyone somewhat has the same view on human rights. The education system should also make us less judgmental towards different races, nations and religious groups.

The third and last point says, that the parents has the right, to choose which education to give to their children.

Examples:

An example could be, that if you, as a parent, have to pay for your child’s elementary education and the higher education isn’t as accessible for you, as it is for other parents who have a higher social status, then your rights are getting violated.

An example for violating the second point could be, that teacher on the school, are teaching your children to hate a specific race, and to not care about human rights at all.

Then at last, an example for violating the third point could be, that the parents can’t choose the education that they think is right for their child. If the parents want to homeschool their kids, however, the city wants their kid in public school, then the city is violating the parents’ rights.
