Dance skills and physical skills are needed for this part of the show because you need to be able to do the dance movements as well as to keep up with the music and dancing as well as making it look better and cleaner. i need movement memory because if i know what i am doing i can look at how to perform it more, moving in character helps develop the dance by bringing more to the story as you are showing how you are feeling, for example if i am happy i would move in a positive way with good energy. i need good listening skills because i an dance there could be a movement on a beat that i need to hit so i need to listen well to get the timing right, if we are all out of time it will make the piece look messy. I need good spatial awareness so that i do not accidentally crash or hit into everybody, if you injure someone they will not be able to finish the dance so it means that it isn't perfect. Flexibility is also needed because it helps me go further into the moves, for example if you go into a back bend you can go further, so it allows me to move more and be more comfortable in the way i move if i am stiff and struggling to move on stage it will make you look unprofessional and also make you look less impressive than the other people who are dancing. I need facial expressions in this dance i need to smile because it is a positive dance.

Yes because I know the dance very well and performing it live in front of an audience as it is improving my dance skills

I don't think much needs improving only making the moves look cleaner as I know all the dance

Acting skills because this piece includes talking loud as they are angry in that voice since its like a horror performance. I need to use mime in this performance because it can bring more to the story as i can show what is happening, i paced up and down this made me look like i was loosing my mind this helped amplify the message of the story which was that we where crazy people who where insane. I need to make sure that i do not talk when i shouldn't be talking because it could interrupt other people and confuse the audience because they do not know what to listen to. I need to use dynamics in my voice so that it tells more of a story and adds emotion (the main emotion to show was anger and negativity), if you shout it creates an angry expression where as if you are going crazy you might smile and go higher pitched. Projection was needed more because their was music over the performance so we need to make sure the voice is being projected properly to the crowd so they understand the lyrics, you can do this by making your voice loud and expanding your mouth.

Yes , I only need to go over some lines to remember which parts I am doing since I haven't done much of it

The part where we have the phobias is what I need to develop more to make it look better and some of the acting since I need to know my lines

singing skills are needed for seventeen because we are singing live in front of an audience. Pitch is needed to make the song sound pleasant, the song goes from a low pitch and then to a high pitch, you need to match it so that it does not sound unappealing to the crowd, you can improve pitch by doing vocal warm ups as you look at scales. You need articulation for your singing so that you can understand the words we are singing the lyrics have meaning so we need to make sure they come out correctly so the right meaning gets across.

not very much, since I don't know the lyrics well enough and I keep forgetting which part I need to sing

My singing skills need developing more since there not very good

I was responsible for learning my lines, this was a responsibility so that i know what i am doing on stage and people can rely on me to know what i am doing, if i dont know what i am doing it can effect the performance and also other people. i did a good job at learning the lines, i learnt them as i was going through the scene.

creating a backdrop for Alice in wonderland, I wanted it to look like a scenery this is so that it helps develop the story, this did not happen in the end because i did not really discuss it with the group this is something i could improve next time and say my ideas more so they get added because i do feel like it could have improved the performance.

- How did you positively enhance the process ?

I have done this by always being positive, this helps because you work better in a positive manner. However, i did struggle with attendance because i kept getting poorly, this then effects the lessons and the performance as their is a perform missing it also meant that i missed some things , so it is then stressful, next time i will attend every rehearsal so that i do not miss out and i can perform confidently.

- What ideas did you have that helped shape the performance material and why where they effective?

i created my own movement when i was acting, i did this so that it helped show who i was i used hand movements to show Alice coming into the scene so that it was clear who we where looking at. i more so helped expand other peoples ideas and making them work instead of coming up with my own, this is because i am less confident with sharing my opinion i wished i would have shared more.
