He is the funniest elephant of the herd. He realizes that he is different but doesn't want to be different anymore. So he decides to color himself in elephant colored berries. When he comes back to the herd no-one realizes where he is. He makes a joke and scares the other elephants. They notice that it is Elmer. After a rain Elmer is in his original colors again. After that the herd decides to celebrate Elmer-day each year.
