Auster and Mansbach are investigating the colors of toys and which gender is assigned for those colors. For example the more pastel colored toys are for "only girls" and the more darker colored toys are for "only boys". They are studying the Disney Store website which hasn't been researched before and focus on the gender stereotypes that the toys have based on there color and type. Their hypotheses talk about the label with the toys such as "boys only" toys and "girls only" toys and the color palette related to those toys.
