2.) Charles Darwin made observations that led to the concept of Natural Selection. When traveling overseas Darwin observed that different islands contain species of animals and plants that were unique to those islands but had similarities to other island's species. This led him to explain that one of these species naturally ended up on a different island and had offspring there. With this being said, the species that were there started to adjust to certain things unique to that island. This is because of natural selection;  a non-random way of nature selecting certain offspring to live and recreate, while others to die with their modifications.
3.) Selective breeding is important because it can create new necessary modifications to different species. Many crops have been created from selective breeding. This process is done by a person choosing which offspring to plant or mate in order to create important modifications to a species. This process gives us many different products from one simple species.
4.) Natural selection is the non-random way that nature chooses the remaining offspring to continue breeding. This is done by nature deciding which offspring gets to live and recreate, and which offspring does not.

He explained that the species most likely started on one island and then developed certain traits that would help them to survive. This is natural selection, the way nature decides which organisms get to survive because they have certain traits and which ones die because they lack those traits.
Why is selective breeding important?
Selective breeding is important because it has been used to keep the evolution of things going as well as creating stronger, more modern organisms. Without selective breeding we would all die because we wouldn't be able to keep up with the latest diseases, predators, etc. Selective breeding also keeps animals reproductive cycle short.
