The skills I will use most are key and standout words, learning how to get your message across in as little text as possible, clarity and scanabitlity. Because, I know it is said that people use scanning when reading online.  However, I think people are using this method when reading in general.

I think the most important thing to keep in mind when writing on the web is to keep it short and sweet. Audiences are not looking to read a book online and scan to understand the main points. I think it is important to keep things concise, readable, and aesthetically pleasing to the eye.

I think that web writing needs to be simple, intuitive and concise so the person visiting a web page will not get bored. Also, in web writing I will make use of white spaces combined with relevant, catchy images that will make the people navigating a website no only to remember the content but also encourage them to visit the virtual web page again.
