Most of his poems discuss how there isn’t equality for all in America.
Langston Hughes had a huge impact when it came to political rights in the past. He would always make  stories out of experiences that people can relate to.  However, he didn’t get there easily. He didn't get there easily though, as he had to put in a lot of work to achieve his accomplishments. Not all of them had to do with poetry, or reading, but he just kept on doing what he had to do to get by, and reach his goal. Langston Hughes had a huge impact on everyone, even those who did not like him. His poems were so powerful that he was able to reach even his worst enemies.  One thing I can take away from Hughes is to always do something that suits you the best.
