Certificate of origin: endorsed by the chambers of commerce or other competent bodies of the exporting country, which serves to prove that the consigned merchandise originates in the nation mentioned in the same. It is usually demanded for tariff reasons, since there are countries that have discriminatory tariffs according to the country of origin.

Este informe se basa en toda la información que contiene el certificado de verificación interno (Internal Findings Report - IFR) emitido por Cotecna junto con los impuestos determinados por la LO cualificada. El informe lo elabora la autoridad aduanera en el puerto de entrada como base para la verificación/evaluación del arancel a la importación y la nacionalización de las mercancías.

 

Inspection certificate: It is a document granted by the liaison office of Cotecna to the importer. This report is based on all the information contained in the Internal Findings Report (IFR) issued by Cotecna together with the taxes determined by the qualified LO. The report is prepared by the customs authority at the port of entry as the basis for the verification / evaluation of the import tariff and the nationalization of the goods.

The term halal refers to the set of practices allowed by the Muslim religion. The term itself encompasses all kinds of practices, but is commonly associated with foods acceptable according to Islamic law.
