<title>My definition of synchronous time is to introduce and allow students to see what they are going to be learning and doing. I must model, teach, and explain how to accomplish tasks. It is also a time to connect and allow students to connect to our classroom community. My own definition of asynchronous time is having students review, practice, research, create, produce and show what they are learning or learning to do. </title>

<title>I feel like distance learning is not very effective as a whole. We are trying our best to engage learners via screen and we just don&#39;t have control over the outcome with so many variables. All we can do is to continue to try to engage kids to the best of our ability. Once we get back to learning in person, we will be able to check for understanding and reteach in person. This will really be helpful in the learning process. </title>
